1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and a password hash or the profile data from a sign-in provider (e.g. Google).
  • Your content: the ideas you type and the videos, scripts, titles, descriptions and hashtags generated for you.
  • Billing data: plan, order and subscription records. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and error logs, used for security and to keep the Service working.

2. How we use it

  • to provide the Service: generate, render, store and deliver your videos;
  • to manage your account, credits, payments and refunds;
  • to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, including automated content checks on topics;
  • to answer support requests and send essential service messages.

Legal bases (where GDPR applies): performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.

3. Service providers (processors)

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, database and file storage.
  • Google Cloud — video rendering servers.
  • Anthropic — AI model that writes the story and storyboard from your idea.
  • Volcengine (ByteDance) — text-to-speech for the voiceover.
  • Waffo and PayPal — payment processing (they may act as merchant of record).
  • Resend — sending account emails such as sign-in verification (when enabled).

Your idea text and the generated script are sent to the AI and voice providers only to produce your video. Some providers are located outside your country; where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

4. Retention

We keep account data and your videos while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the Service. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email support@toonblip.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
